Pepper's Cottage opened at the end of the summer of 2002. I had just completed a two-year course in Building Engineering at the State college, here in Dominica and decided to renovate and existing house on my family's waterfront property. So, Pepper's is really a product in progess and after 5 years there is, Suite Pepper's Bed & Breakfast. So please keep expecting something new and improved, so maybe this time around it will take less than 5 years and thanks for your contribution.

Ask Pepper

What kind of questions do people ask you?

All kinds, but one that I was recently asked is very interesting. A couple from Houston, Texas asked me if they could be married in Dominica and if I could help them make the arrangements. While I'm not a wedding planner, I spoke to the government officials and found out that it is not only possible, but requires only a couple of forms to be filled out and processed once they get here.

I informed them of the necessary documents to bring with them and explained the process to them. They are now planning on getting married in Dominica this Summer. As for the ceremony, they have decided to be married at Emerald Pool, one of the most beautiful spots on Earth. I have arranged for a local minister who is happy to perform the ceremony right by the waterfall.
